Introduction To The Short Story: This book is an introduction to the art of the short story – the art of the writer as the creator of the experience with which the story deals, and the art of the reader as the re-creator of that experience. Since few of us will ever be writers of short stories, the main purpose here is to help students become more skilled readers.
