Rodin Museum Handbook: The Rodin Museum and its collection were given to the City of Philadelphia by Jules E. Mastbaum, a leading figure in the motion-picture industry and head of the Stanley Company of America, as well as one of Philadelphias best-known philanthropists. After purchasing a small bronze by Rodin which so fired his enthusiasm for this artist, Mastbaum conceived the idea of establishing a Rodin Museum in Philadelphia.
