Descrição
Sahara: Kazuyoshi describes his encounter with the Sahara as one of falling under a spell. In these beautful photographs he captures the magic and mysticism of the desert and its people, transforming a barren landscape into a wealth of form and colour. Through the lens of his camera he exposes the skeleton of the earth, with its awesome silhouettes, from the infinitely gentle melancholy of the sand dunes to the tortured monoliths of rock formations shaped by centuries of erosion. This is a unique record of man’s travels through a hostile wilderness, of his experiences of the nomads and his testimony of their struggle to survive into the desert.
