Victoriana to Art Deco – The Colectors Encyclopedia: As Curator of the V and A Roy Strong had an easy task finding items to fill such a book. The nightmare must have been the choice of items to leave out. Nice large format, coloured plates on every page, alphabetically arranged with a good bibliography and index this is one of the few titles that can be relied upon to do exactly what it says. It also does not confine itself to just the major names; plenty of the smaller or less well covered aspects and names of the period are commented upon here.
